Making my day
Feedback
I just wanted to say ‘Thank you!’ for all the positive feedback. I have received so much from you guys over the years. It makes my day to see that the tutorials, ramblings, and images are helpful to you. Your responses are so better than my much needed morning coffee to start the day.
You don't need to say 'thank you'.
Is me who must be grateful to you.
I don't finish it yet, but you make possible my own games with self-made graphics, and this is something that a lot of teachers and tutorials couldn't do.
So thank you Chris. Because I needed you and I didn't know.

I agree with Victor, in fact we would like to 'Thank you' ! :)
Thank you so much for your tutorials! I'm very new to Inkscape, and they have helped A TON! Please never stop posting. :)
The other comments sum it up just right – however I will echo those comments. We thank you! :)
Yes Thank YOU Chris! You've empowered a lot of us to take control of what we do and that's priceless! Might I sneak in a request here for a more in depth tutorial regarding techniques for game titles? I've notice "poofy" texts just as Jason Nester's that he used for his Flappy Wings. I'd really find it interesting to go over in depth all the various techniques to really make an awesome game title graphic. I know you have one but I'll pay for a pdf with even more details! Thanks again!
Thanks to you Chris u can't imagine the numbers of people u helped around the globe
NO, THANK YOU. LOVE YOU
it is we who should be thanking you my friend, its not every day you can find such a talented artist willing to share his knowledge for almost next to nothing. that is how all ppl should be, warm hearted and willing, i will always be gratefull to you dear sir
I`m very happy to see you still working !!
Congratulations for the score, and all of us have to say thank you Chris.
Working now with Unity and looking on our art for inspire…
Nice to meet you!
You're welcome and thank you. =). Please keep them coming. These tutorials have helped me tremendously.
I too follow your site frequently and must say great job, sorry it took til after you wrote this post before I thanked you back, but you're a great inspiration for me learning my own artwork.
We need to thank you for all the great work you create.
Enough of the flattery competition… I wasn't out to get my ego stroked (was I ?) but just to say how much I appreciate the feedback and comments… So… no more of it… let's get back to work (on a new tutorial) and have some fun with game art.
Thank you Chris. I am looking forward to more of your in-depth tutorials. Often times we have a problem getting a certain element right because we are missing that on crucial piece to the puzzle. Your tutorials seem to provide that piece. đ
Just found this blog and am loving it so far. Thank you. One question, do you use a Wacom tablet for your illustrations? I imagine one could do a lot of the basics with just a mouse but curious if a tablet would make it a lot faster.
I work pretty much only with my wacom tablet – bitmap, vector or even the 3D work. I even have the pen in my hand as I am typing this message – wondering if it's already ingrown… ;) I would give a tablet a try – the smaller wacoms work well – I have been working with those for years before upgrading. It takes a little bit of getting used to and I would keep the mouse handy – I moved it to my left side and still use the right mouse button as I find the pen a little clumsy at time.
Hi! Christian!! I would say to you many many thanks for your tutorial! they are wonderful, i need this very much! i will create games with construct 2, and your tutorial are the best what you will find on the net! already many thanks to you!!!
Sorry for the name Christian instead of Chris!!!!
Hi Chris, Very nice tutorials. Why don't you cover synfig (vector animation) for intro scenes for game, actually that will nice; since we can import inkscape graphics to synfig(https://www.synfig.org). any plans on synfig/animation
Amazing Tutorials, you are very inspiring!
Do you have plans of compiling your tutorials into one PDF?? I would gladly pay I thought I saw that option at one time but don't see it.
Thank you Chris! Your tutorials are amazing.
