I created two new video tutorials for the challenges in my Facebook groups ‘Inkscape – hands-on‘ and ‘Affinity Designer – hands-on‘ creating miniature storefronts using basic shapes.
I frequently post challenges in these groups on Facebook. At the moment it’s all about simple shapes [rectangles, circles, and stars] combined into a storefront for a butcher, flower shop, restaurant, art supplies store… or the fishmonger’s and the watchmaker’s stores.
I recorded my workflow while creating this miniature design. These are not ‘click-here’ explainer videos of the tools but a showcase of simple tools and techniques coming together to create the entire design.
Doing these designs was a lot of fun. I hope it shows and inspires.
