Seamless patterns

Affinity Designer Video Tutorial

Yet another request from a social media site. I did record this tutorial for Inkscape a while back. Here’s a version on how to easily and quickly create seamless patterns in Affinity  Designer. As usual, this workflow can be easily be used in Inkscape, CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator. The key component is the nudge (moving elements with the cursor keys) and the adjusting of the nudge distance to the canvas/ artboard size.

Note:
I apologize for the changing sound settings. The gardeners decided to start mowing the lawns outside the complex just as I was recording. Camtasia’s noise reduction didn’t quite do the trick. I hope it’s bearable and helpful nevertheless.
